I’m a professional wedding photographer based in Southern Maine. My journey began capturing Portland’s vibrant nightlife—a surprising but perfect training ground for the energy and spontaneity of wedding receptions. Early in my career, I made the pivotal decision to specialize in wedding and portrait photography, allowing me to focus on storytelling, emotion, and the art of preserving life’s most meaningful moments.
After 15 years as a photographer, I’ve learned that the best photographs come from knowing when to step in and when to simply let a moment unfold. I’m constantly watching for beautiful light, unexpected angles, subtle interactions, and all the little details that make a day feel like yours. My work blends documentary storytelling with an editorial eye, giving you photographs that feel honest and emotional while still being thoughtful, flattering, and artfully composed.
I also believe the experience you have in front of my camera matters just as much as the photographs themselves.
