Q: Do you have backup equipment and insurance?
Absolutely. I come fully prepared with backup cameras, lenses, and other essential equipment to ensure your day goes smoothly. Additionally, I am fully insured, which is often a requirement for most wedding venues.
Q: What is your photography style?
My style is cinematic with an editorial flair, blending honest emotion with thoughtful composition and a romantic, atmospheric feel. I’m drawn to beautiful light, movement, and the fleeting moments that make your day uniquely yours. I document what unfolds naturally and offer gentle direction when it adds something meaningful, creating photographs that feel both artful and deeply personal. Just as important is making you and your people feel comfortable, so having me there feels like welcoming an old friend.
Q: How far in advance should we book you?
It's recommended to book your wedding photographer at least 12-15 months in advance, especially if you're planning a wedding during peak season.
Q: Can you help me with styling?
I'm more than happy to assist with styling for engagement, family & portrait sessions! Feel free to share your outfit ideas, and I'll provide feedback to help you look your best for our photoshoot.
Q: How do we secure our wedding date with you?
To secure your date, I require a signed contract and a deposit. The remainder of your package fee is due one month before your wedding date. Once the contract and deposit are in place, your date is officially reserved!
Q: Do you travel for weddings and engagement sessions?
Yes, I love to capture love stories in new and unique locations! I primarily work in the New England but and will travel as far south as New York. Travel is available for both weddings and engagement sessions. Please reach out for specific travel rates and availability.
Q: Do you work with a second photographer?
Yes! My premium wedding package includes a second photographer, and you can also add one to any other wedding package as an à la carte option. A second photographer captures additional perspectives and moments unfolding in different places, adding depth to the story of your day.
How do back up your photos?
Protecting your photographs is an essential part of my process. I photograph with two memory cards recording simultaneously, creating two copies of every image from the moment it’s taken. When I get home, I set aside the SD card for safekeeping and transfer the images to an external hard drive. Your final edited photographs are then saved both to an external hard drive and to your online gallery, keeping your memories in multiple places.
